Calendar

Views, statuses, time off and moving appointments.

Version 1.3 · updated 2 November 2026
Which views does the calendar have?
Month, week, day and list. On a phone: list, day and month.

The week starts on Monday. A red line shows the current time in the day and week views.

On a phone the calendar opens in the view that fits the screen best, and the week view is left out because it can't be read on a small screen.

Which statuses can an appointment have?
Six: Confirmed, Pending, Awaiting confirmation, Completed, No-show and Cancelled.

Each status has its own colour in the calendar and changes with one tap, from the appointment window.

Completed is the one that matters for money: only completed work counts in reports, in accounting and in a client's total spend. The moment you mark an appointment completed, the artist's commission is fixed on it (see the Accounting chapter).

From the side panel you filter the calendar by status and by artist, with the number of appointments next to each.

How do I move an appointment?
Drag it to another day or time. The app asks before moving it.

Drag the appointment with the mouse or your finger. So it can't move by accident, the app asks "Reschedule?".

You change the duration by dragging the bottom edge of the appointment, in the day and week views.

Does it warn me if two appointments overlap?
Yes, when you save, if the artist already has a confirmed appointment at that time.

The check is per artist: two artists can work at the same time without any warning.

The warning doesn't block you. If the overlap is intended, you save anyway.

The same goes for time off: if you book an appointment during an artist's time off, the app asks whether to add it anyway.

How do I add holidays and days off?
From the Time off / Unavailability button, for each artist.

Choose the artist, the period and, if you like, a label (for example "holiday" or "convention").

The period shows up in the calendar, and appointments booked over it trigger the warning above.
